Dr. Savage, you really MUST look before you leap, unless specifically commanded by God. At 480 B.C., the battle precedes the pandemic of Islam by more than a millenium. There were no Muslims before the unprofitable Mohammed. The nature and doom of Islam has been foretold, but the Spirit of God must naturally reject it as a foreign and demonic counterfeit. The Rev. Barry W. Lynn was on the Michael Medved Radio Show the other day, and I heard him say that the "Religious Right" do not understand the concept of "Separation of Church and State". He heads an organization called "Americans United for the Separation of Church and State". I don't speak for the "Religious Right", but I do understand the connotations of the phrase. I will illuminate its derogatory nature by adjusting the title of the organization he heads to its more exact and precise meaning: "Americans United for the Segregation of the Separate but Equal Church and State". I understand the concept of "Separation of Church and State" perfectly. It is the apartheid policy of the Masonic New World Order implemented by anti-Jehovah supranational globalists who, in order to maintain the ruse of plausible deniability, wrap themselves in what, to them, is the toilet paper of the U.S. Constitution, and relegate American Citizens of genuine belief in the testimony of the Holy Bible to a socially and politically and legally inferior and permanently voiceless place in the political discourse and public policy-forming processes of the United States Government. It is an explicitly EXclusive and NOT an INclusive concept. It is a judicially devised and mass-media-culturally-implemented ghetto. And it is demonstrably the antithesis of the First Amendment.

Stuff like the "Department of Homeland Security" and warrantless air traveller searches, for example. All the while, Bush has been a lightning rod for leftist antipathy and anti-traditional propaganda. Most of THAT is ridiculous hyperbole, but I think I'm on solid ground in my belief that people like Rosie O'Donnell are privy to the same practical and cruel joke. "Radical Christianity!!! BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!"

Last night I watched "Shockwave", a new show on one of the iterations of "The History Channel". One of the events featured on the show was a tornado that struck Attica, Kansas. Storm chasers recorded the destruction of a house on video. There were people in it at the time. One of them commented that the tornado sucked all the air out as it passed, making her unable to breathe. There was a graphic aid presented that illustrated the hypothesis that the rotational motion of the tornado starts on an axis parallel to the ground and then evolves into the familiar vertical orientation of the "fully developed" twister. This is the state of the art in tornado theory, and I have seen it presented on other "storm chaser"- type documentaries. There is absolutely no evidence to give rise to this nonsense, and I'd like to know how much the babbling idiots that proposed it are paid for their efforts, because it is a waste of money.
( If you detect a note of hostility towards the "scientific" community, it is directed towards those counterfeit "scientists" who prostitute themselves for money and fame by twisting the interpretation of or suppressing the data in order to garner favor with the New World Order purveyors of the gospel of Satan, which is amoral materialistic humanism, and to rule out the very possibility that God created us, let alone that He has loved us in offering Himself for us in the Person of His Son on the cross, so that He can freely give us eternal life, thereby saving us from our sins and delivering us from the very appropriate and eminently deserved wrath to come, which God will pour out on those who refuse to be reconciled, but rather elect to remain His enemies without cause. The formation of tornadoes is readily explained by observations made elsewhere in God's creation, and by coherently correlating those observations with known meteorological information about the environment in which tornadoes are formed and the testimony of the survivors of direct contact with a tornado as noted above. In short, tornadoes suck.
I support my household employed in the field of residential plumbing service. Drain cleaning is a prominent band in the spectrum of the tasks that I am called upon to perform. I have observed a lot of water going down the drain. ( Much like the money paid to the researchers that came up with the "axially horizontal tornado genesis hypothesis". I am a high school dropout and only the most casual observer of meteorological phenomena. This is a deplorable state of affairs.)
What I have observed is this: the faster that water runs down a drain, the longer the vortex will be that reaches the surface. That vortex is created when the rate of liquid passing into the drain exceeds the rate at which the surrounding liquid can flow in to replace it. This differential creates a reduction in static pressure around the opening that actually destabilizes the boundary between air and water formed at the surface by gravity, and air is drawn into the opening with the moving water. ( When a drain is really clear, there is a distinct "slurping" sound that has evoked surprised comments from many an impressed customer.) This flow of fluids is invariably organized into a uniform rotational configuration unless it is disrupted, and will stabilize to this configuration if the interference is removed. Note that air is only drawn into the opening when the boundary, the surface of the water, is close enough to restrict the flow of water, and air is required to make up the difference in pressure.
Now invert the direction of flow from down to up and replace the primary fluid medium, a body of water, with the atmosphere. The boundary will remain the surface, except that the boundary is now below, instead of above, the fluid medium. In the case of waterspouts, the correlation is obvious and inescapable. In the case of tornadoes and their diminutive cousins, "dust devils", the correlation is a bit more subtle.
Dust devils are formed by thermal convection over level geography as air is heated by the sun on hot days. Dust and debris are drawn up into the vortex formed by air rushing into the negative pressure created as heated air draws cooler air in after it as it rises. The surface of the earth forms a boundary which restricts the flow of air, thus necessitating the pressure differential. This rush of air is typically organized into a rotational configuration except when disrupted.
Tornadoes are formed below "supercells", storm systems generated by massive atmospheric instability as warm humid air violently encounters drier cooler air, seeking equilibrium. Tornadoes occur in the "Great Plains", a gigantic area of level geographical topography. As air is drawn up into a "supercell", the flow is restricted by the proximity of the surface, generating the extreme pressure differential which took our survivor's breath away. The inrushing air is typically organized into a rotating vortex, generating the high velocity winds and drawing loose debris such as cars and houses into it. As this debris rises away from the restricting surface of the earth, it encounters a progressively less intense pressure differential and is released to fall back down to earth, considerably the worse for wear.

The fluid at the surface of the plane must flow horizontally along the plane in converging lines toward the center and then it must change direction from horizontal to vertical to follow the direction of flow. Inertial momentum would prevent a direct right angle turn, so the converging fluid would gradually change direction, being deflected into a spiral motion and gradually changing from horizontal at the planar surface to more vertical as it moves away from the surface.
In the absence of the planar boundary, the fluid would flow in freely from all directions. It is the interaction between air flowing into thermal updrafts and the flat surface of the ground that creates tornadoes. DUH!

On yet another "storm chaser" documentary on the National Geographic Channel, the "axially horizontal tornado genesis hypothesis" was featured much more prominently. Amusingly, scientists were perplexed by a Pampa, Texas tornado event in which the vortex formed in an otherwise stable air mass and progressed laterally at across the surface at ten miles per hour. They presented a graphic of a horizontal vortex being sucked up from the middle like an inchworm! This is a perfect example of how "scientists" become so fixated on a theory that they twist (pun intended) the interpretation of the data to conform to the theory rather than adjusting or scrapping the theory when it doesn't account for the data. (This is irrational behavior. Another term for "irrational" is "demented". Yet another colloquialism for "irrational behavior" is "stark raving lunacy". This type of behavior is much more pathological and chronic when they discuss the subject of the origin of the cosmos, and more particularly, living organisms, especially the species "homo-sapiens".)
A woman whose home was destroyed by the Pampa event reported that very cold air rushed into the room as the force of the wind breached the structure, and she also reported that dirt and mud made her unable to breathe, but that after the twister tossed her free, the dirt and mud were cleared and she was able to breathe again.
This is a misinterpretation of the phenomena that she experienced. It was the negative atmospheric pressure in the vicinity of the vortex that made her unable to breathe, and not having a competent interpreter of the data to explain this to her that caused her and the "documentarians" to present this information as accurate.
The "cold air" is also consistent with negative pressure. Decompression of gases always produces a drop in temperature and it is the exploitation of this effect that makes refrigerators and air conditioners work. It also causes humidity in the air to appear as vapor, which effect can be observed as the vapor contrail that is left in the sky behind jet aircraft. The reason that funnel clouds appear to drop down from the cloud layer is that this effect is produced more readily at higher, cooler altitudes, and progresses down toward the ground as the decompression of the air in the vortex overcomes the ability of the progressively warmer strata of the air at lower altitudes to hold their humidity. The base of the cloud layer is the boundary below which the air temperature exceeds the dewpoint. Tornado "researchers" know that the vortex is already present at ground level even before the vortex's reduction of air temperature below the dewpoint by decompressive cooling or its disturbing of matter at the surface make it visible.

After airing a story about the possible involvement of Quarterback Michael Vick in the illegal and inhumane "sport" of dog fighting, you made a comment about "dominionists" who think that "they can do anything they want with animals". If, by "dominionists", you mean those who, informed by the revelation of God contained in the Holy Bible, believe that humankind are charged with the responsibility of being fruitful, and multiplying, replenishing the earth and subduing it, and having dominion over other species of animals, then your caricature of them is misinformed and slanderous.
Genesis 1

Now let me contrast this with THE leading "American" liberal "environmentalist", Al Gore, which is one of the darlings in the pantheon of celebrated liberals, as his recent Academy Award for the motion picture "An Inconvenient Truth" so glowingly affirms.
When he lost the presidential election in the year 2000 to George W. Bush by a narrow electoral margin, and it became apparent that the electoral votes from Florida could swing the election in his favor if he contested the results under Florida election law, his campaign organization swung into action to attempt just that. But rather than contesting the results in all Florida counties and thereby ascertaining the actual statewide totals, his campaign only contested the results in "liberal" counties, where the canvassing boards, which are comprised of appointed and elected officials, and who would oversee the recounts, would presumably be in favor of his prevailing in contesting the election results. Furthermore, the undercounted votes would more likely be for him and less likely be for Bush in predominantly liberal precincts. It is apparent from these FACTS alone that Mr. Gore and his presidential campaign were NOT interested in what the American People wanted, as expressed by their ballots, but were only interested in winning the election, and if the actual majority of citizens that voted in the election were unlawfully disenfranchised in the process, this was indisputably of NO CONCERN WHATSOEVER to Al Gore. As if this were not outrage enough, the sociopathic degenerate appeared on national television and stated that he wanted ALL THE VOTES counted and EVERY VOTE to count in blatant contempt for the intelligence and sensibilities of the national audience. But wait! There's more! It came to light that attorneys for the Gore / Lieberman Presidential Campaign filed motions in various courts to actually BLOCK the absentee ballots of U.S. Military Personnel from being counted because people in the armed forces tend to vote Republican! (Democrats say "We support our troops!" How, exactly?) And all of this was done openly, with the support and approval of the ENTIRE Democratic Party and liberals of every stripe with one remarkable exception that I know of: an Irish Catholic former U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican whose name escapes me right now.
America was founded on the idea that lawful and just government derives its power from, and rules with the consent of, the governed. The ballot is the legal instrument whereby the governed confer or withhold that consent. The electoral college was conceived to balance the electoral clout of populous states with that of less populous states in electing the President. Mr. Gore's conduct of his presidential campaign is prima facie evidence of his treasonous contempt for the rule of law and the consent of those he aspired to govern, as well as the Constitutional provisions that were enacted to assure and protect the process whereby the will of the governed was to be determined:election law. The entire Democratic Party and its political constituency supported him in this conduct. The entire judicial system failed to note its implications. The entire Republican Party is complicit in this treason by giving "aid and comfort" to the Democratic Party and failing to uphold and defend the Constitution against these, its enemies. The news and information media failed to alert the people to the danger. The Hollywood Entertainment Industry regards this person as worthy of its highest honors. The public school system spends more time and resources indoctrinating children with the politics of deviant sexuality than it does on their civic and legal rights and responsibilities, and would-be Commander-in-Chief Barak Obama advocates "age-appropriate" sex education for five-year-old children. (Here is a comprehensive, age-appropriate course in sex education for five-year-olds, Mr. Obama : "If anyone talks to you about your private parts or shows any interest in them whatsoever, tell your parents or guardians immediately, and if you are not comfortable telling them, then tell a policeman, minister or adult friend that you feel safe talking to, as soon as possible. Do you have any questions? O.K! Now go out and play." Your services as president will not be required, Mr. Obama. My question is, to whom may I report Barak Obama? Now let me contrast this with THE leading "American" liberal "environmentalist", Al Gore, which is one of the darlings in the pantheon of celebrated liberals, as his recent Academy Award for the motion picture "An Inconvenient Truth" so glowingly affirms.
When he lost the presidential election in the year 2000 to George W. Bush by a narrow electoral margin, and it became apparent that the electoral votes from Florida could swing the election in his favor if he contested the results under Florida election law, his campaign organization swung into action to attempt just that. But rather than contesting the results in all Florida counties and thereby ascertaining the actual statewide totals, his campaign only contested the results in "liberal" counties, where the canvassing boards, which are comprised of appointed and elected officials, and who would oversee the recounts, would presumably be in favor of his prevailing in contesting the election results. Furthermore, the undercounted votes would more likely be for him and less likely be for Bush in predominantly liberal precincts. It is apparent from these FACTS alone that Mr. Gore and his presidential campaign were NOT interested in what the American People wanted, as expressed by their ballots, but were only interested in winning the election, and if the actual majority of citizens that voted in the election were unlawfully disenfranchised in the process, this was indisputably of NO CONCERN WHATSOEVER to Al Gore. As if this were not outrage enough, the sociopathic degenerate appeared on national television and stated that he wanted ALL THE VOTES counted and EVERY VOTE to count in blatant contempt for the intelligence and sensibilities of the national audience. But wait! There's more! It came to light that attorneys for the Gore / Lieberman Presidential Campaign filed motions in various courts to actually BLOCK the absentee ballots of U.S. Military Personnel from being counted because people in the armed forces tend to vote Republican! (Democrats say "We support our troops!" How, exactly?) And all of this was done openly, with the support and approval of the ENTIRE Democratic Party and liberals of every stripe with one remarkable exception that I know of: an Irish Catholic former U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican whose name escapes me right now.

The electoral college was conceived to balance the electoral clout of populous states with that of less populous states in electing the President. The news and information media failed to alert the people to the danger. The Hollywood Entertainment Industry regards this person as worthy of its highest honors. Dr. Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens (Anti-Christopher would be more accurate advertising) and their ilk are not true atheists. They are ANTI-theists. Anti-religious activism is not the province of the true atheist. If one holds the view that there is no creator and, therefore, no transcendent cause nor purpose for the cosmos, then one may laugh or weep at the spectacle that meets ones gaze, but one has no rational cause nor purpose for informing or intervening in the political process. Such intervention is ultimately meaningless and futile to the atheist and therefore borders on madness. True atheism offers only despair, and the true atheist will only advocate despair, because hope, and therefore action or activism motivated by the hope of some outcome in the ultimately futile and meaningless future, is inconsistent with, and disingenuous to, the true atheist. In other words, the true atheist knows that he has nothing to contribute and no reason to contribute it to the human experience. Any expression of his belief as an influence on others cannot possibly enrich or enhance their experience and therefore can only harm or injure them. ("Expression of his belief" is not to be confused with any professed atheist's basic impulses or ethical characteristics that are expressed as good works in the world, although identifying oneself as an atheist and then manufacturing "virtue" in an effort to promote atheism as "good" is actually evil and anti-theistic, not truly atheistic.)
Ergo, these anti-theistic activists are not behaving in a manner consistent with their professed atheism. If you are a true atheist, I commend you for the courage to persist in what must be a very desolate and terrifying existence. I must admit dismay, however, at your woefully deficient assessment of the scientific and material evidence to the contrary. For example, what Darwinists cite as "the fossil record" is actually evidence that the mineralized remains of living organisms preserved as fossils experienced sudden death and catastrophic burial consistent with a global event such as the Biblical Flood. In stark contrast to this, organisms that expire in the relatively stable environment of today do not remain physically intact as many of those preserved as fossils obviously did. Therefore, when Darwinists cite "the fossil record" as the evidence of processes that have persisted from time immemorial to the present, they are either manifestly incompetent at interpreting the evidence that is right in front of them, or they are deliberately falsifying the record. In either case, they are not to be trusted nor taken seriously, except as the agents of some hitherto undisclosed and highly suspect agenda that is incompatible with the truth. I am overwhelmingly persuaded that the latter is the case, and that today's Darwinists are motivated in their duplicity and dishonesty by the same impetus that today's anti-theists are: malice and hostility to the Creator and the ultimate proprietary authority that His existence implies.

They will simply keep moving the standard of proof beyond the reach of the evidence. (The O.J. Simpson criminal verdict is a perfect technical example of the standard of proof being "persuaded beyond an unreasonable doubt". It's an impossible burden. Even when God weighs in on the testimony.)
It is perfectly acceptable and lawful for any American Citizen to profess atheism and to enjoy perfect liberty in doing so, and they always have, insofar as the law is concerned.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
As far as I know, the federal judiciary shall make no law, period, and when they issue orders abridging the rights of free speech, as in prohibiting prayers in school, and prohibiting cultural expressions of religious faith in the public sector made voluntarily, and preceding their ex post facto rulings, it is the federal courts who are trampling not only the first amendment rights of ALL Americans, but they are arrogating to themselves the powers of the legislative branch of government in gross violation of Constitutional "separation of powers". If they followed the law as it appears in the Constitution, and an atheist brought suit against prayer in school, for example, they would rule that unless the atheist were being coerced or compelled to participate in the prayers or other religious activity, his first amendment rights were not being violated, and his suit was merely a malicious effort to deprive his fellow Americans of their first amendment rights, which is itself a CRIMINAL ACT. When the court rules in favor of the anti-theist's suit in such a case, the court ceases to exist as a Constitutional court of law, and becomes the instrument of the anti-theist's malicious oppression of his fellow Americans and therefore his criminal accomplices. It establishes the atheist's non-observance of religion and imposes it upon the people, thereby prohibiting the free exercise of their religion , and abridging their freedom of speech. It is perverse wickedness that the federal courts cite enforcement of the first amendment as a pretext for obliterating it. This is not inadvertent. Their presence in Balboa Park was considered a violation of the separation of church and state. Because the Scouts believe in God, said Judge Jones, there is "overwhelming and uncontradicted evidence" that the Scouts have received preferential treatment in being able to lease Balboa Park.
Under terms of the new settlement, San Diego must request Judge Jones to cancel the Boy Scouts' lease on Balboa Park. The city will also pay the ACLU nearly $1 million in court costs and attorney fees, which will, of course, help finance further attacks against the Boy Scouts.
Now that the City of San Diego has given up on the Boy Scouts of America, a nearly 90-year relationship has come to an end. It began after the 1915 San Diego World's Fair in Balboa Park when the Santa Fe Railroad donated its Pueblo Indian Village to local Boy Scouts with approval by the San Diego Parks Commission. For 25 years, the Scouts used the Indian Village as a headquarters and recreation site free of charge. During World War Two, the military took possession of Balboa Park and the Boy Scouts launched their volunteer campaigns to help the war effort from a makeshift headquarters in a local theater.
At the end of the war, the San Diego City Council passed a resolution authorizing the Boy Scouts to take charge of several acres of land in Balboa Park. Through fundraising and volunteer work, a state-of-the-art swimming pool and a 600-seat outdoor amphitheater were constructed. In 1949, the Boy Scouts Desert Pacific Council headquarters building was completed.
Parts of Balboa Park remained undeveloped by 1957, so the city council agreed to transfer additional property to the Boy Scouts for maintenance and operations. A fifty-year lease was signed with a rental fee of one dollar per year.
Today, Camp Balboa accommodates up to 300 campers at a time, and it offers a variety of year-round programs. Each year, 12,000 Boy Scouts take part in day camps, weekend camps, and merit badge classes.
But the Boy Scouts don't have exclusive access to their own camp. Anyone can use it. Last summer, the two-day San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Festival was held at Balboa Park.
And the Boy Scouts take good care of Balboa Park. The Scouts have spent millions of dollars developing and maintaining the public park over the years, without burden to the city and its taxpayers. In the language of free market think tanks, that's a classic public-private partnership.
The ACLU cares nothing about saving taxpayers money, nor that the Scouts perform millions of dollars and thousands of hours worth of public service for the San Diego community, nor about the fact that the Scouts have been in the park for most of nine decades. According to anti-theistic, secularist judge's rulings, they themselves, and the offices they hold, are religious in nature, and by their own criteria, should be excluded from operating with public funding or in public facilities, such as federal courthouses. In conclusion, atheists enjoy the protections of the Constitutional first amendment, and should support and celebrate those protections for their theistic fellow Americans, and vice versa. That is called "equal protection under the law". Anti-theists do not support and celebrate the equal protection of theistic Americans, and therefore should be regarded as enemies of the Constitution, the American People and the rule of law. Anti-theistic judges should face impeachment for either willful misconduct or legal incompetence. The "wall of separation" between church and state is not found in the Constitution, and, as it has been abused by the federal courts, has actually formed the basis of persistent and criminal suppression of the first amendment rights of the vast majority of American Citizens living since 1947, especially those that were required by law to attend state-run public schools. As far as I know, the federal judiciary shall make no law, period, and when they issue orders abridging the rights of free speech, as in prohibiting prayers in school, and prohibiting cultural expressions of religious faith in the public sector made voluntarily, and preceding their ex post facto rulings, it is the federal courts who are trampling not only the first amendment rights of ALL Americans, but they are arrogating to themselves the powers of the legislative branch of government in gross violation of Constitutional "separation of powers". If they followed the law as it appears in the Constitution, and an atheist brought suit against prayer in school, for example, they would rule that unless the atheist were being coerced or compelled to participate in the prayers or other religious activity, his first amendment rights were not being violated, and his suit was merely a malicious effort to deprive his fellow Americans of their first amendment rights, which is itself a CRIMINAL ACT. When the court rules in favor of the anti-theist's suit in such a case, the court ceases to exist as a Constitutional court of law, and becomes the instrument of the anti-theist's malicious oppression of his fellow Americans and therefore his criminal accomplices. It establishes the atheist's non-observance of religion and imposes it upon the people, thereby prohibiting the free exercise of their religion , and abridging their freedom of speech. It is perverse wickedness that the federal courts cite enforcement of the first amendment as a pretext for obliterating it. This is not inadvertent. "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes", and that something is the Luciferian Oligarchy otherwise known as the New World Order.

Their presence in Balboa Park was considered a violation of the separation of church and state. Because the Scouts believe in God, said Judge Jones, there is "overwhelming and uncontradicted evidence" that the Scouts have received preferential treatment in being able to lease Balboa Park.

At the end of the war, the San Diego City Council passed a resolution authorizing the Boy Scouts to take charge of several acres of land in Balboa Park. Through fundraising and volunteer work, a state-of-the-art swimming pool and a 600-seat outdoor amphitheater were constructed. In 1949, the Boy Scouts Desert Pacific Council headquarters building was completed.
Parts of Balboa Park remained undeveloped by 1957, so the city council agreed to transfer additional property to the Boy Scouts for maintenance and operations. A fifty-year lease was signed with a rental fee of one dollar per year.
Today, Camp Balboa accommodates up to 300 campers at a time, and it offers a variety of year-round programs. Each year, 12,000 Boy Scouts take part in day camps, weekend camps, and merit badge classes.
But the Boy Scouts don't have exclusive access to their own camp. Anyone can use it. Last summer, the two-day San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Festival was held at Balboa Park.
And the Boy Scouts take good care of Balboa Park. The Scouts have spent millions of dollars developing and maintaining the public park over the years, without burden to the city and its taxpayers. In the language of free market think tanks, that's a classic public-private partnership.
The ACLU cares nothing about saving taxpayers money, nor that the Scouts perform millions of dollars and thousands of hours worth of public service for the San Diego community, nor about the fact that the Scouts have been in the park for most of nine decades. The ACLU simply wants to destroy the Boy Scouts of America."

According to anti-theistic, secularist judge's rulings, they themselves, and the offices they hold, are religious in nature, and by their own criteria, should be excluded from operating with public funding or in public facilities, such as federal courthouses. This, of course, is absurd, and illustrates the absolute dementia of their "jurisprudence".
In conclusion, atheists enjoy the protections of the Constitutional first amendment, and should support and celebrate those protections for their theistic fellow Americans, and vice versa. That is called "equal protection under the law". Anti-theists do not support and celebrate the equal protection of theistic Americans, and therefore should be regarded as enemies of the Constitution, the American People and the rule of law. Anti-theistic judges should face impeachment for either willful misconduct or legal incompetence. The "wall of separation" between church and state is not found in the Constitution, and, as it has been abused by the federal courts, has actually formed the basis of persistent and criminal suppression of the first amendment rights of the vast majority of American Citizens living since 1947, especially those that were required by law to attend state-run public schools. Talk about making law prohibiting the free exercise of religion and abridging freedom of speech! It is wickedness.

I was meditating on the scripture Jesus referenced when He said "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD." and looked it up online with an eye toward "the stone which the builders rejected" referring prophetically to the Masonic New World Order as "the builders". It's in Psalm 118:

Jesus presented Himself to Jerusalem on the Sunday in which the families of Israel selected their lamb for Passover sacrifice. He came into town on a donkey as the kings of Israel did when they were coming in peace. The crowds seemed to be receptively welcoming Him, but Jesus wept and uttered the lament that is our passage for today. He saw that the people were seeking a military savior and not the spiritual Savior. He looked beyond the crowd, caught up in the moment, and could see their next enthusiastic shouts would be Crucify Him! He looked even further into the future and saw the Roman army leveling the city and the Temple.
His heart was to save them from the destruction they were bringing on themselves, both physical and spiritual. The crowd did not have ears to hear or understand. We look back and wonder how they could be so dull in heart. How could they see the miracles and yet insist on their own agenda? Yet, we tend to live in the same pattern. Jesus comes to give us new life and we welcome it with shouts of Hosanna! Before long we are making decisions against our Savior. We are all of like nature. That is why Jesus made this journey to the cross. He came to deliver us from our nature, not material difficulties or hardship.
He longs to gather us, too. What a beautiful picture! The mother hen sees the hawk and calls her chicks under her wings. She is willing to be the one that endures the talons to save her little ones. Won't you run under the wings of Jesus? Those who reject His shelter now will one day see Him coming on the clouds in glory. Then, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is the Lord. Why not bow the knee now? It is the only safe place to be.

When the Word of God comes at you as a living revelation of His Person and purposes,it rocks you to the core. I was particularly struck by His being surrounded by the nations like attacking bees. Militarily speaking, the nations could not conceivably mount an airborne attack until the early twentieth century. "Like bees!"

Wise men search the scriptures.
I've heard scholars speculate that the wise men from the east were conscious of Messiah's birth through astrological mysticism. I don't know what star guided them, but I'm reasonably certain that they were tipped off by the Book of Daniel, which was written, at least in part, in Chaldean. Daniel was over the "wise men" in both the Babylonian and Medo-Persian imperial administrations.
Daniel 2
46Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
47The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
48Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

The coming of wise men from the east at the time of Christ's birth is supernatural, but not quite so mystical and extra-sensory as some would make out. They simply searched the scriptures.

I've heard scholars speculate that the wise men from the east were conscious of Messiah's birth through astrological mysticism. I don't know what star guided them, but I'm reasonably certain that they were tipped off by the Book of Daniel, which was written, at least in part, in Chaldean. Daniel was over the "wise men" in both the Babylonian and Medo-Persian imperial administrations.
Daniel 2
46Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
47The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
48Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
49Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.
Daniel 6
1It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
2And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
3Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
His writings would have been preserved in the archives of those ancient capitals. Messiah's death is precisely foretold here:

20And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

The coming of wise men from the east at the time of Christ's birth is supernatural, but not quite so mystical and extra-sensory as some would make out. They simply searched the scriptures.
John 5
24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Ta-ta to Tahoe. A travelogue in verse.

Slush freezes. Water drops falling bear ice as we rise to our place of winter retreat.
Jittery feet. Hope becomes dread as tread releases grip, wheels slip, beats skip.
Dive for cover. Peace of mind found behind 18-wheeler, a careful pace keeps our place in line.
Arrival. Lovers check in at Cottage Inn sitting pretty at Tahoe City as rain turns to snow on cue.
Change shoes. Hush puppies yield to boots made for snow, frosty mush, yuppies even know, chills feet, ruins fun.
Morning sun! A walk to shore calls for more, and we take the 89 on a southerly line, praise and thanks to God inspired.
Chains required.Rumbling hum-thumping over roads wet with the threat of vanishing snow.
Falls pine-spired. Water tumbling run-jumping over rocks bathing, surprised, snow- clothes out of reach.
Emerald beach. Still waters caressing winter splendor as they pass it upturned to thirsty eyes.
Filmy skies. Rider second-guessing driver wrestling with questions of the road.
Nerves erode. Outside,temps rise. Wise, tight lips unfooled, inside, temps cool.
On schedule. Horse-drawn sleigh hauls away despond over the meadow, through the woods.

Wresting the scriptures to their own destruction.

2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
I have heard preachers, speaking to their congregations, talk of how we overcome "by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony". This is a spiritually deadly practice. To wit:
Revelation 12
7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
So what is the problem with that? They are giving place to the devil, and thereby denying Christ His rightful place in the hearts of His people.
Ephesians 4
20But ye have not so learned Christ;
21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27Neither give place to the devil.
28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
How are they giving place to the devil? By avoiding the Lord's command to fear not those who kill the body, and tailoring the Gospel to appeal to those who love the world and the things that are in the world.
Matthew 10
24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Furthermore, by skirting the fear of death, they leave their congregations in bondage to the devil, and deny them the liberty that Christ purchased for them on the cross:

9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

How is this spiritually deadly? Behold:

3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Verse 19 says that if any man takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy ( The Book of Revelation, of which chapter 12 is a central part) God shall take away his part out of the book of life, etc. The only alternative is the second death, to be cast into the lake of fire. Those of us who have received the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, had best sober up, wake up, and start living like children of the day, lest the day of the Lord catch us unawares. This is no joke.
Revelation 1
1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Jude 1
1Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Satan, this is not the body of Moses. It is the body and bride of Christ. The Lord rebuke you!

2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

4But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, LORD, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?

People of God, say no longer that Christ is your brother. He is your husband. In other words, when the god of this world comes a-courtin', you're NOT AVAILABLE!

2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
I have heard preachers, speaking to their congregations, talk of how we overcome "by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony". This is a spiritually deadly practice. To wit:
Revelation 12
7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
So what is the problem with that? They are giving place to the devil, and thereby denying Christ His rightful place in the hearts of His people.
Ephesians 4
20But ye have not so learned Christ;
21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27Neither give place to the devil.
28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
How are they giving place to the devil? By avoiding the Lord's command to fear not those who kill the body, and tailoring the Gospel to appeal to those who love the world and the things that are in the world.
Matthew 10
24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Furthermore, by skirting the fear of death, they leave their congregations in bondage to the devil, and deny them the liberty that Christ purchased for them on the cross:

6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Verse 19 says that if any man takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy ( The Book of Revelation, of which chapter 12 is a central part) God shall take away his part out of the book of life, etc. The only alternative is the second death, to be cast into the lake of fire. Those of us who have received the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, had best sober up, wake up, and start living like children of the day, lest the day of the Lord catch us unawares. This is no joke.

1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Satan, this is not the body of Moses. It is the body and bride of Christ. The Lord rebuke you!

From what I have heard, all the theories on this board are wrong, with the theories about abortion being closest. My wifes father spent a good deal of time in Britain in the 60's, and evidently Ride is where there was a facility for unmarried pregnant women (girls) to go to when they were close to giving birth. This was a common practice back in those days due to the social stigma of a young woman having a child out of wedlock. So when they say "She's got a ticket to Ride, and she don't care" it puts a whole new meaning on the song.

A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to establishing an unborn child as the legal victim of a
crime that results in harm to the unborn child; creating new
provisions; and amending ORS 163.005, 163.095, 163.115,
163.118, 163.125 and 163.145.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. ORS 163.005 is amended to read:
163.005. { + (1) As used in this section:
(a) 'Criminal homicide' is murder, manslaughter or criminally
negligent homicide.
(b) 'Human being' means:
(A) A person who has been born and was alive at the time of the
criminal act; and
(B) An unborn child.
(c) 'Unborn child' means a member of the species Homo sapiens
at any stage of development while carried in the womb. + }
{ - (1) - } { + (2) + } A person commits criminal homicide
if, without justification or excuse, the person intentionally,
knowingly, recklessly or with criminal negligence causes the
death of another human being.
{ - (2) 'Criminal homicide' is murder, manslaughter or
criminally negligent homicide. - }
{ - (3) 'Human being' means a person who has been born and
was alive at the time of the criminal act. - }
{ + (3) A person does not commit criminal homicide if the
death is of an unborn child and occurs:
(a) During a lawful abortion performed with the pregnant
woman's consent to the abortion or with the consent of a person
authorized to act on the pregnant woman's behalf; or
(b) As the result of acts committed by the pregnant woman.
(4) In a prosecution for a criminal homicide involving the
death of an unborn child, it is no defense that the defendant did
not know or could not reasonably have known that the woman was
pregnant. + }
It is no defense that the U. S. Supreme Court says that abortion is not murder.(This Oregon measure is unconstitutional because it fails to provide equal protection of the law to all "unborn children".) The unborn are persons, the Constitution expressly forbids the depriving of any person of life without due process of law, and the U.S. Supreme Court's sole function is to determine the Constitutionality of legal practices and processes in the United States of America. This is not a question of political preference. In permitting abortion in the United States of America, the U.S. Supreme Court has declared unequivocally that the U.S. Constitution is NOT the supreme law of the land and that THEY are. That is treason, and it is the sworn duty of every oath-bound office-holder in the government to uphold and defend the Constitution from ALL enemies, both foreign AND DOMESTIC. Anyone and everyone that diputes this declaration is an enemy of the Constitution and is subject to lawful arrest and prosecution. The ONLY question is whether the American People have the intelligence, courage and character to defend their country from its enemies. If the U.S. Constitution is not the supreme law of the land, what is?
